Key Judicial Principles in Tiran and Sanafir Case

The Court of Administrative Justice, headed by judge Yahia El Dakroury and attended by judges Samy Darweesh and Abdel Megueed Al Moqannan, issued yesterday a historical court order for ECESR lawyers Mr Khaled Ali and Mr Malek Adly. The lawyers had powers of attorney submitted by petitioners Alaa Abdel Fattah, Amro Ali, Ahmed Doma, Sabber Barakat, Mona Mina, Adel Wassily, Laila Soueif, Ahdaf Soueif, Hossam Mo’nis, Karim Yahia, Asmaa Aly, Mina Seif, Nagy Rashad and other petitioners (182 in total) in lawsuit no. (43866/70JY), also known as the “Tiran and Sanafir case”.

The Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights (ECESR) publishes the most important judicial principles of the ruling in the Tiran and Sanafir case.
