Six New Trade Unions Established Pensioners Solidarity – Egypt's Courts and Prosecutors Staff – Idfu Sugarcane Farmers – Fishermen – Craftsmen – Electricity Facilities Workers)
The Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights this week , submitted foundation papers of six trade unions to the ministry of manpower and its directorates.
ECESR submitted papers to establish
Egypt’s courts and prosecutors staff on 2/5/2011, in Cairo.
Idfu sugarcane farmers , on 3/5/2011, in Aswan.
Fishermen – Craftsmen – Electricity Facilities Workers , on 4/5/2011.
ECESR lawyers last week participated in the procedures to establish the first independent trade union for non-regular employment in Egypt the union of industrial constructions workers.
On the margin of the first annual conference of the Egyptian committee for the protection of labor rights, held in cooperation with the Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights under the title (the Egyptian revolution and labor rights ) on Saturday May 7th, 2011 at the journalists syndicate , 12:00-7:00 pm, there will be a celebration for establishing these unions in the presence of the minister of manpower, the representative of the International Federation of Trade Unions in Egypt and leaders of the labor movement and independent trade unions.
