A ruling issued to compensate a worker with 320.000 EGP due to being arbitrarily dismissed by the Association for the Care of Mothers and Children
The Egyptian Center’s lawyers obtained a labor ruling issued by the Labor Circuit No. 22, in labor lawsuit No.6307 of 2022, issued on 28/3/2024, for Mrs. “Um Hashem M. A.” against the Association for the Care of Mothers and Children, awarding her a compensation of 320.253 EGP for her arbitrary dismissal.
The plaintiff had been working for the association since the beginning of 2000s, receiving a monthly salary of only 600 EGP, despite her confirmed salary in the social insurance statement being 1200 pounds. She was arbitrarily dismissed in violation of the law.
After the experts completed their mission and submitted their report, the court ruled to compensate her with a sum of EGP for the arbitrary dismissal, as well as moral compensation, the difference in monthly salary, leave balance, and notice period compensation.
