H. EGP 100,000 in compensation for his arbitrary dismissal and the unlawful termination of his indefinite-term employment contract as a Customer Service Representative. The court further awarded him compensation in lieu of the statutory notice period and payment for his accrued but unused annual leave.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">According to the facts of the case, the claimant commenced employment with Delivery Hero Egypt under an indefinite-term employment contract as a Customer Service Representative. On 20 May 2025, he was unexpectedly denied access to the company&#8217;s premises and prevented from performing his duties. He was subsequently informed that his employment had been terminated. The claimant sought to ascertain the reasons for what he considered to be an arbitrary dismissal and made several amicable attempts to persuade the company to reverse its decision. Those efforts, however, proved unsuccessful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Moreover, the claimant requested payment of his outstanding employment-related entitlements, but the company refused to comply. Consequently, he filed Administrative Police Report No. 5560 of 2025 at the Maadi Police Station, documenting the circumstances of his unfair dismissal and asserting his financial claims. He subsequently lodged a complaint with the Maadi Labour Office. As the Labour Office was unable to facilitate an amicable settlement, the dispute was referred to the competent Labour Court for adjudication and for a judgment awarding the claimant all of his statutory and contractual entitlements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Accordingly, the case was referred to the competent Labour Court at the Helwan Court of First Instance, where it was registered as Case No. 414 of 2025 (Specialized Labour \u2013 Helwan) and assigned to the Second Circuit for Major Labour Disputes.
