The claimant brought the case after his pension payments were suspended in early 2021, despite his eligibility for pension benefits since opting for early retirement in 2018 following a voluntary termination of his employment. The Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights (ECESR) represented the claimant. During the proceedings, the Center\u2019s legal counsel petitioned the court to refer the case to the Damanhour Office of Experts to assess the claimant\u2019s entitlement to resume pension payments and calculate the financial differences resulting from the suspension.<\/p>\n
During the investigation phase, the representative of the Social Insurance Authority alleged that the claimant held a private driver\u2019s license and was engaged in alternative employment, which the Authority cited as grounds for terminating the pension. However, the claimant\u2019s legal counsel submitted official documents refuting these claims.<\/p>\n
Upon the conclusion of the expert report and submission of all legal memoranda, the court issued its final ruling in favor of the claimant, confirming his right to resume receiving his pension and to collect all financial entitlements withheld during the suspension period.<\/p>\n
