We, as members of the Global Network for Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights, united in our commitment to justice, equality, and the safeguarding of human dignity, express our unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people in their fight for self-determination, life, and dignity, free from occupation, apartheid, and the violence of settler colonialism.<\/p>\n

The International Court of Justice recently reaffirmed in an advisory opinion what has been widely acknowledged by the international community: that Israel\u2019s occupation of Palestinian territories is illegal under international law. This ruling aligns with decades of similar conclusions from international bodies, yet the systematic oppression and violence against Palestinians continue unabated.<\/p>\n

The international community, particularly states, has a legal and moral responsibility to act decisively. It is time for all nations to meet their obligations under international law and end their complicity in the occupation, which enables ongoing violations of Palestinian rights. We call on governments around the world to take firm action\u2014politically, economically, and diplomatically\u2014to immediately end this unlawful occupation and hold those accountable for the crimes committed against Palestinians.<\/p>\n

Although Palestine\u2019s tragedy is unique in its historical depth, it must also be recognized as part of a larger global pattern of injustice. The situation in Palestine reflects deep-rooted inequalities and human rights abuses worldwide, particularly across the Global South. These inequalities are remnants of colonialism and imperialism, manifesting in forms such as occupation, systematic oppression, and economic exploitation. From Palestine to the Americas, Africa, and Asia, struggles for justice are interconnected. Thus, the Palestinian people\u2019s fight for freedom is a fight for all oppressed peoples.<\/p>\n

In this spirit, the Global Network calls on states, international organizations, and civil society to step up their efforts to uphold human rights, enforce accountability for violations, and dismantle the remnants of occupation that hinder global justice. Together, we can build a future that respects the rights of Palestinians and people everywhere, fostering a world that provides peace, security, and dignity for generations to come.<\/p>\n

The Global Network emphasizes that the fight for Palestinian liberation is part of a broader global struggle for human rights, equality, and dignity. We stand with Palestinians in their rightful demand for self-determination, the dismantling of apartheid structures, and an end to settler colonialism. Through the fight for Palestinian justice, a vision of a fairer world for all becomes clearer.<\/p>\n

We urge the global community to act with moral clarity and determination at this critical time. Enforcing international law is not optional but an urgent duty. Only through collective action can we end the cycles of violence and inequality impacting Palestine and other regions worldwide.<\/p>\n

In solidarity with all those impacted by imperialism, we reaffirm our commitment to defending human rights and social justice for all.<\/p>\n

Together, we pursue the freedom of Palestinians, believing that through this struggle, justice for all can be achieved.<\/p>\n

In accordance with international law, we mobilize grassroots movements and civil society organizations to pressure all governments to:<\/p>\n

Enforce a mandatory dual-use arms embargo on Israel, encompassing weapons, security and surveillance equipment, aviation fuel, and joint training. This includes a ban on exports, imports, and transfers of parts, components, and other dual-use materials to and from Israel, along with restrictions on military and industrial research collaborations.<\/p>\n

Impose selective legal sanctions, including cutting diplomatic ties with Israel, banning banking and financial transactions, and suspending trade and other forms of cooperation with Israel until it ceases its illegal occupation of Palestinian territories, including settlement expansion, annexation, persecution, and apartheid policies.<\/p>\n

Impose targeted sanctions on individuals who are complicit in these violations, as well as on large Israeli and international corporations and institutions involved in Israel\u2019s breaches of international law and commission of international crimes.<\/p>\n
