When amicable settlement failed, the complaint was referred to the competent Labor Court in Giza Court of First Instance, and was registered under No.827 of 2022 South Giza Labor Full Court to be considered before Circuit No.8 Labor Full Court on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: #444444;\">During the deliberation of the lawsuit, the defendant&#8217;s attorney attended and submitted a secondary claim, demanding the compensation for the moral and financial damages through which the defendant suffered from the plaintiff\u2019s absence from work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: #444444;\">On October 27, 2022, the Court referred the lawsuit for investigation, and during its deliberation, the newspaper\u2019s attorney claimed that the aforementioned journalist was absent from work and called for a compensation due to the moral and financial damages occurred to the newspaper, together with asking to dismiss her due to her absence from work. However, the ECESR\u2019s lawyers succeeded in proving that the claim was null and void through witnesses and documents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: #444444;\">On January 31, 2023, the Court ruled in the matter of the original lawsuit to oblige the defendant to pay EGP 15000 in favor of the plaintiff as a compensation for being arbitrary dismissed and for the moral and financial damages.
