On Sunday, March 25, 2018, ECESR held a seminar titled \u201cWhite Taxi, Uber, and Careem between fair service and competition\u201d. Before the seminar started, we were surprised with the presence of the security in the streets around ECESR office, as one of our clients had attempted to enter the building but the security informed him that the center is closed on that day.\u00a0 The Security also asked us to postpone the seminar, we tried to clarify the reason, yet received no response. As a result, ECESR administration decided to hold the seminar regardless of the security attempts to cancel it by Intimidating attendees in the streets and asking for the IDs for security check. In the end, ECESR lawyers decided to stand in the street to accompany anyone wants to attend the event personally to ensure their safety.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
